A little bit of history about Christian Lacroix…
Christian Lacroix, born May 16, 1951 in Arles, is a great French couturier. He is also a costume designer, designer, and illustrator.
After a degree in art history at the Faculty of Montpellier, he continued his studies in Paris at the Ecole du Louvre to become a museum curator.
He began with a first short job at Hermès, which he found thanks to Jean-Jacques Picart, a French marketing consultant in the luxury sector, with whom he later joined. He then became artistic director in the Jean Patou house for six years. In 1987, Christian Lacroix opened the fashion house that bears his name, assisted by Bernard Arnault. He then presented his first collection of haute couture.
