Maximum Bid System 

The maximum bid system is commonly used in online auctions to streamline bidding. Here’s how it works:

  1. Set a Maximum Bid: When you place a bid, you decide on the highest amount you’re willing to pay, called your “max bid.” This amount remains hidden from other bidders.
  2. Automatic Bidding: The auction system then automatically bids on your behalf, starting with the minimum bid required to beat the current highest bidder. It will continue to increment your bid by small amounts (often the minimum bidding increment) whenever another bidder places a bid.
  3. Staying Competitive: This automatic bidding continues until one of two things happens:
  • Either no one else outbids you, and you win the item, potentially paying less than your max bid if the competition was low.
  • Or, someone else places a max bid higher than yours, in which case they take the lead, and you’re out of the running.
  1. Benefits: This system saves you from having to manually rebid each time someone else places a bid, and it can keep prices more reasonable by only raising bids when needed to stay competitive.

In summary, with a max bid system, you set your maximum willingness to pay, and the system handles the small incremental bidding for you to keep you in the auction as long as you’re still competitive.

Payment

When you win the auction, you automatically receive an email confirming the order and asking you to proceed to the payment. The payment system is like for all the other orders, by credit card “stripe” (3-D secure payment system) or by bank wire if you prefer.

Shipping 

Delivery costs are free from 500€ and below a contribution of 20€ is automatically added to the order. The shipment is made by DHL. We can also send by Mondial Relay if you wish. Please specify this when ordering.
