\nComposed of baroque pearls in soft pink and grey tones with a subtle ombre effect, completed by a silver-plated metal clasp set with crystal stones. Made by Louis Rousselet. IIt could have been done for Chanel. Not signed.<\/p>\n
A little bit of history…
\nLouis Rousselet (1892\u20131980), born in Paris, began making beads at the age of eight. In 1922, he founded his workshop in M\u00e9nilmontant, specializing in glass, galalith, and p\u00e2te de verre beads, as well as imitation pearls coated with \u00ab\u00a0essence d’Orient.\u00a0\u00bb Renowned for his craftsmanship and innovation, he was one of the biggest Parisian Parurier until the 80s. His creations were sought after by couturiers and major fashion houses such as Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga,… In the US, the Rousselet collection was showcased in prestigious retailers, including Neiman Marcus. Today, the business of the Maison Rousselet is continued by his granddaughter, Caroline Rousselet.

Compos\u00e9 de perles baroques dans des nuances douces de rose et de gris, pr\u00e9sentant un subtil effet d\u00e9grad\u00e9, termin\u00e9 par un fermoir en m\u00e9tal argent\u00e9 orn\u00e9 de pierres de cristal. R\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Louis Rousselet.

En 1922, il fonde son atelier \u00e0 M\u00e9nilmontant, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les perles en verre, galalithe et p\u00e2te de verre, ainsi que dans les perles imitant les perles naturelles recouvertes d'\u00a0\u00bbessence d’Orient\u00a0\u00bb. Reconnu pour son savoir-faire et son innovation, ses cr\u00e9ations \u00e9taient pris\u00e9es par des couturiers et de grandes maisons comme Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, Schiaparelli, Balenciaga… Aux Etats-Unis, la collection Rousselet \u00e9tait notamment pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e chez Neiman Marcus.
